GM MPI Products
Are you building from scratch, or updating the induction system on your 1967-95 small block or 1965-95 big block Chevy motor?? Now you can top it off with a complete Multi-port Fuel Injection (MPI) system from Howell Engine Developments.
Multi-port systems feature a separate fuel injector for each cylinder located in the intake manifold. This allows more precise fuel control for good fuel economy, and wider latitude in intake manifold design. This is the main reason you find MPI fuel injection on all current GM engines right from the factory.
Howell Engine Developments simplifies your conversion to MPI with a complete system to fit your application. We use an Edelbrock MPI intake manifold and injectors with a 2 barrel throttle body to provide idle control and TPS sensor for the ECM. The kit includes a high pressure, in-line fuel pump, GM electronic distributor with coil, pre-programmed GM ECM, with all necessary sensors and simple instructions. MPI systems operate at approximately 43 PSI fuel pressure.
The wiring harnesses in our MPI kits feature GM/Packard high temperature wire and waterproof Packard Weatherpack connectors that keep your engine performing in all weather conditions. Our custom made harnesses made with individually labeled connectors make installation a snap, and our high grade covering and bindings will look clean and professional, even under hard service.
The Howell MPI systems provide a standard diagnostic connector, and may be diagnosed with any scanner as a regular GM system made from 1990-1995.
